Shen Yun Performing Arts at Keller Auditorium

Behold ancient Chinese heritage unfolds in a breathtaking celebration brimming with color, spirituality, and passion. Shen Yun — the world’s unrivaled dance company — has finalized 2026's calendar of performances throughout many of the country's most prestigious venues, which includes the Keller Auditorium on Saturday 18th April 2026!

Long before the period of Communist reign, FIVE THOUSAND years of arts, legends, and culture flourished in every corner of China's mainland, and year after year, the NYC-founded Shen Yun brings these timeless treasures back to life for everyone to enjoy! This year will be the same.

Heavenly beings treading across the land. Vast grasslands swept by nomadic hordes of Mongols. And battleground heroics of fearless warriors. Shen Yun’s yearly exhibitions revolve around the countless legends and sagas that crossed Chinese regimes, artistically illustrating their calamities and fortunes with teachings from Buddhist and Taoist beliefs to complete each story.

The upcoming production will feature 20 story sections of otherworldly performances in approximately two hours. Professionally trained dancers dressed in charmingly vibrant costumes will flutter through the floor, recounting the show’s stories with 17 or 18 complex folk dance pieces. In addition, 2 or 3 instrumental and vocal solos will intersperse these chapters with invigorating symphonies — traditional and original alike.

A full-piece band will perform sweeping music throughout the event, seamlessly incorporating Western and Chinese instrumentation. In regard to staging, Shen Yun makes use of a cutting-edge digital backdrop to render life-like scenes, pulling audiences into the realm of China before Communism in a jaw-dropping fashion.

For the run's pit stop in Oregon's city of Portland, the premier Keller Auditorium will serve as host. Its renowned stage, graced by dozens of the past century's greatest artists, will present the foundation for the outstanding show, further elevating it with clear vantage points, pristine light setups, and pitch-perfect sound systems.
