MIGUEL’S FIFTH LP

Miguel’s new album 2017’s Gold-certified “War & Leisure,” which featured a slew of hits — “Sky Walker” feat. Travis Scott, and “Come Through and Chill” feat. J. Cole and Salaam Remi. “Caos” marks a shift in his usual beats — taking a deep dive back to his roots and the current state of the world. Taking the time to create something special, he truly is worth the wait. Touching on on every bit of life that he cares about, it’s a record that quickly found a special place not only in his heart, but also of his fans.

“I needed to come to terms with things that were not working and find a better way,” the singer told GRAMMY.com “At the core of it was avoidance… It's easy to lean into that and forget there's internal work that has to happen.”

Finding change, growth, and serving it up with a smooth groove, Miguel reflected about his heritage in a deep way over the last eight years. Exploring self love and coming into terms with reality, every single song shares a sense of purpose, introspection, and care.

“Everything I've been through over the past eight years… refined me in ways I never could've predicted,” he added.

Raw, emotional, and reflective, it’s an invitation to his heart. Rolling Stone gives a beautiful description of what this album is:

Caos is about “searching for meaning as you try your best to process a world on fire — and it’s a mood that should resonate with any honest listener.”
