Hasan Hates Ronny: Ronny Chieng & Hasan Minhaj at Keller Auditorium

Modern day comedy has some amazing acts out at the moment and two of the biggest and best are Hasan Minhaj and Ronny Chieng. Both deliver hilarious stand-up shows in their own unique style, Minhaj delivers intelligent humor and sharp social observations and Chieng delivers clever and innovative take on current affairs as well as some of the more taboo subjects.

Hasan Minhaj

Hasan Minhaj is one of the leading figures of modern stand-up. Not only has he received wide recognition, Hasan has also been praised for his critically acclaimed Netflix series, the Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj where he was awarded a Peabody for his exceptional work. He tours all over the globe performing at theaters and performing stand-up in which he talks about his journey and the world we live in today through the lens of belonging, heritage and how he has come to terms with who he is and where he is from and where he is today in life. 

Ronny Chieng

As Senior Correspondent for 'The Daily Show with Trevor Noah', Senior Editor Ronny Chieng will travel to Portland to perform his intelligent and sharp comedy that offers his view point on current affairs. Two of his hour long Netflix Specials 'Speakeasy' and 'Asian Comedian Destroys America!' showcase Ronny's style of Observational Comedy. Ronny is also known for his work in films 'Crazy Rich Asians' and touring internationally for performances for crowds all over the world. This will be the first time that Malaysian-Australian, Ronny Chieng, will be performing in the predominantly white male American comedy scene and bringing his Cross Cultural and Cross cultural view points to the stage with his intelligent humor and sharp observations. 

Keller Auditorium Details

The Keller Auditorium is a leading Portland entertainment venue, which is a beautifully historic building, providing a world-class performance space and sound system. The theater hosts over 175 events each year and has approximately 3,000 seats spread across the three levels of seating (Orchestra, Mezzanine and Balcony). The Keller Auditorium is perfectly located in the heart of Portland, Oregon and is suited to any performance type, including comedy.

There is parking available directly outside of Keller Auditorium, as well as street parking and several other public parking lots in the area. The show is on Friday, so there should be plenty of great parking if you get there early enough.
