Oh - this one y'all?! This one is SPECIAL special, and it’s gonna be one of those nights where we tell all our friends, invite our parents who got us into this guy too, and act a FOOL right as he makes it on stage for days to come. ‘Cause when it comes to artists who don’t just play music - but have always made it for a generation that wasn’t so caught up in fame but more so memories - well, we just GOTTA be here for it, am I right friends?! There are very few names that sit in the same lane as David Byrne. And on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, that energy lands right at Keller with all of us in the crowd for a night rocking along like its 1999 all over again. SO - y’all ready to go?! Good, we were hoping so!
David Byrne is, of course, the legendary mind behind the band Talking Heads: AKA one of the greatest GOATS to ever bend genres, expectations, and the rules of what live music in the peak rock and roll era could look like. But what’s made Byrne last way longer than his hits is his refusal to ever stand still - even when the band broke apart. Every era of his career asks a new question, tries a new form, and ALWAYS lets us in on his process rather than trying to hide it Keller Auditorium, with its theatrical weight and intimacy, is the perfect home for that kind of experience. So as he goes on the road again for his Who Is the Sky? Tour, named after his latest project - It’s a continuation of the ethos that powered American Utopia, but pushed forward a whole new millenial filled with orchestral sounds that were just... real. So on the night of, expect movement, unexpected arrangements, moments of peace and tranquility, and all our favoite classics that remind us why we lfell in love with David in the first place.
So yeah guys - why even hesistate?! Like - do we REALLY need to decide?! Grab your tickets, bring your people around, and let’s have one of those crazy moments all over again. We’ll see you here - dancing and singing right in the middle of the floor of the Auditorium with us and the crew.
