This long-running production of C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters has been on the road for over 15 years! Kicking off back in 2009, it has been played to over 500,000 people across the United States, and across the pond in London, where it was heaped with praise for its faithful production, and excellent audience participation.

The 2025 tour will hit stages from Pittsburgh, PA to Chicago, IL and all the way to Riverside, CA with loads more in between. The stop here in Portland, OR will also include a post-show question-and-answer session open to everyone, so don't you dare run off straight after the show!

A critically acclaimed adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ satirical novel. This 2025 production is directed by Max McLean, founder of the Fellowship for Performing Arts, and features the incredible acting of Brent Harris, known for his role as Scar in The Lion King, as Screwtape.

The incredible, deep shaded red set uses dynamically changing lights and white smoke to depict the 'beauracratic hell' of Wormwoods' room where Screwtape advising his nephew. With an incredibly fast-paced delivery, the show covers themes of temptation, human nature, and redemption, that still remain relevant in our modern world.

With a 90-minute runtime, and no intermission. It is recommended for ages 13 and up, and children under age 4 are not admitted.

Keller Auditorium, Portland, OR

Opening back in 1917, the theater, located at 222 SW Clay St, Portland, OR, was renovated in the late 60s, and again in the early 2000s. Has kept its position as one of Portland’s largest theaters, and perfectly suited to the best stage productions, ballet and Broadway shows.

Seating almost 3000 guests across its varied sections, it also includes wheelchair-accessible positions, and assistive listening devices, plus on selected shows sensory-friendly accommodations will be made. As well as the on site concessions, there are lots of nearby restaurants in the heart of Portland. It has easy access via TriMet’s MAX Light Rail (get off at Providence Park or Library/SW 9th Ave stops), and multiple Bus lines into the city. Or find nearby parking at 715 SW 1st Ave.
